Specific instructions on how to send a text message from your phone are in your User Guide. In general:

1.  Select the messaging option from your phone's menu.
2.  Enter in the 10-digit mobile number of the message recipient.
3.  Type in the text message.
4.  Press SEND.

Can I hook my phone up to a modem?

Do not attempt to hook your Cricket® phone up to a modem.   If you attempt to attach your phone to a modem, the software in your Cricket® phone may be damaged. This will void any manufacturer and dealer warranties.

Can I send or receive e-mails from my Cricket® phone?

No.  Cricket® customers cannot send or receive e-mails from their phones at this time.

What is my Multimedia Messaging e-mail address?

Your e-mail address is yourphonenumber@mms.mycricket.com. For example, a customer with the phone number 123-456-7890 can receive a multimedia message at 1234567890@mms.mycricket.com.

How do I send text messages to international numbers?

Specific instructions on how to send a text message are in your phone's User Guide. In general:

1.    Select the messaging option from your phone's menu.
2.    Enter the country code.
3.    Enter the phone number of the recipient.
4.    Type in the text message.
5.    Press SEND.

How do I pay for sending text messages to international destinations?

The International Text bundle is available for a $5 monthly recurring fee.  This includes unlimited International text messages.  International text messages will be paid for using your pre-purchased Cricket® Flex Bucket services.  You can send text messages internationally for an additional $.15 per message. Text messages to Mexico will be charged at a rate of $.10 per message.  There is no charge to receive text messages from an international destination.
