Take this free test to find out if you have Text Messaging capability:
- Scroll through your phone's menu and select messaging.
- Create a new message and type "text" as the message.
- Send the message to phone number 151.
- If you receive the following message back to your phone, you have Text Messaging on your account: "Thank you for choosing AT&T. Text Messaging is working for your account."
If you do not receive a response within a few minutes, you may not have Text Messaging on your account. Please call Customer Care at 1-800-331-0500 for further assistance and to add Text Messaging to your account.
